Rules and regulations

GENERAL (COLLEGE)

  1. The students will maintain complete discipline in the college and other academic areas.
  2. The students will be in complete uniform in the college, clinical area, community area and other academic areas. Civil dress is permitted on Saturdays. Revealing or unprofessional attire is strictly prohibited.
  3. The students will adhere to the college's time schedule. Latecomers will not be allowed to attend classes.
  4. All students must wear Identity Cards during college hours.
  5. Total silence must be observed during classes and practicals.
  6. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited in the college and academic areas. Confiscated phones will not be returned.
  7. All students must follow the academic calendar in its entirety.
  8. Students are encouraged to participate in personality development events.
  9. All students must comply with existing Hostel and Library rules.
  10. 85% attendance in theory and 100% in practicals is mandatory to be eligible for University exams.
  11. Prior approval is required for any leave. Unauthorized absence may result in disciplinary action.
  12. Medical leave is not counted towards attendance; it is only a courtesy notification.
  13. Students are strictly prohibited from participating in political or disruptive activities.
  14. Students must avoid involvement in any activities that may damage the institution's reputation.
  15. Discontinuing the course is not permitted. Students who choose to leave must pay the full remaining fee, else documents will be withheld.
  16. Fresher’s/Farewell Parties, picnics, and visits are contributory in nature.
  17. The college will fully sponsor guest lectures, workshops, and literary activities.
  18. Each student must submit an anti-ragging affidavit. Violation leads to expulsion and legal action.
  19. Students must not communicate directly with higher authorities. All correspondence must go through the Principal.
  20. Students are responsible for college property. Damages must be compensated before No Dues certificate issuance.
  21. Vacation will be as per University/INC guidelines.
  22. Special leave may be granted in exceptional cases (e.g., serious illness/death), subject to verification.

HOSTEL

  1. Hostel is compulsory for all students per INC norms (File No:1-5 (GB)Cir/2011 dated 03/01/2012).
  2. Every student must submit a Hostel Admission Form in duplicate by the due date.
  3. Prescribed hostel fee must be paid at the college office.
  4. Room allocation will be done by the Hostel In-charge/Warden.
  5. Rooms are shared by 3-4 students and are equipped with basic amenities.
  6. Use of loudspeakers, irons, heaters, etc., is prohibited. Violations incur a ₹500/- fine.
  7. Students must return issued items in good condition; damages will be charged.
  8. Maintain peace; unresolved issues may be escalated to the Chairman.
  9. No guests are allowed inside the hostel.
  10. Students must keep their rooms clean.
  11. Permission is required to leave/stay out of the hostel.
  12. Night outs are permitted only with parental application.
  13. Market visits are once per month, accompanied by faculty.
  14. Regular surprise inspections will be conducted; Best Room awards will be given.
  15. A student committee (Prefect, Vice Prefect, Mess Secretary) will manage hostel activities.
  16. Excessive mobile use is discouraged in the hostel.
  17. Leaving hostel mid-session requires full fee payment.
  18. Meals follow a pre-approved, student-consulted menu.
  19. No special meals or self-cooking allowed; food must not be taken to rooms.
  20. Food wastage will result in a ₹200/- fine.
  21. Follow meal timings and wear formal attire during meals.

LIBRARY & BOOK BANK

  1. The holder of this card is entitled to draw one book for a period of 7 days from the library.
  2. An overdue charge of ₹10 per book per day will be levied beyond the due date.
  3. The member shall be responsible for all books issued in his/her name.
  4. Books lost must be replaced by the borrower. If replacement is not possible, the borrower must pay a penalty of 1.5 times the actual cost of the book.
  5. Members should check the condition and soundness of the book before borrowing. Damaged books will not be accepted on return.
  6. Books cannot be returned on the same day of issue.
  7. The same book cannot be reissued/renewed on the same day.
  8. Members must carry their Identity Card when using the library.
  9. Silence must be maintained in the library premises at all times.
  10. Mobile phones, eating, smoking, spitting, and chewing pan are strictly prohibited in the library.
  11. Writing upon, damaging, or marking books, furniture, or any library property is prohibited.
  12. Membership privileges may be suspended or cancelled for misbehavior, misconduct, or violation of library rules.

TRANSPORT

  1. Students must apply using the prescribed transport form.
  2. Transport fee is non-refundable. Discontinuation mid-session requires full payment.
  3. Students will receive a Transport Card, which changes color quarterly.
  4. Routes will remain unchanged during the session.
  5. No transport on strike/protest days.
  6. Contact Transport In-charge or Principal for concerns.
  7. In case of breakdown, the driver must notify and arrange alternatives.
  8. Loss/damage of Transport Card: ₹50/- fine. Return card on request.
