MPHW (Multi-Purpose Health Worker) is a Diploma Course offered by the J&K Nursing and Paramedical Council. The duration of the course is 18 months. This program aims to train health workers in basic healthcare delivery, immunization, first aid, and other public health responsibilities, especially in rural and community health settings.
Total number of MPHW seats is 40. All admissions are made through an entrance examination conducted by the J&K Board of Professional Examination (BOPEE), except for Management Seats.
The examinations, both theory and practical, are conducted annually by the J&K Nursing and Paramedical Council. Two internal examinations (theory and practical) are also conducted by the college to support student progress.
